The University of Wasit’s team achieved second place in the athletics competition at the Iraqi Universities

The University of Wasit’s team achieved second place in the athletics competition at the Iraqi Universities Championship held in Sulaymaniyah. The team secured several medals, with athletes excelling in various events such as sprinting, long jump, triple jump, discus throw, and high jump. The team’s coach, Mr. Ahmed Naif, and the delegation’s head, Dr. Amin Ata Hassan, praised the players for their dedication and effort, resulting in this outstanding achievement. This is the first time the team has secured second place in the competition, wishing them all the best for future tournaments.
